The Vienna Cognitive Science Hub is a network of researchers at the University of Vienna active in various disciplines of Cognitive Science and Cognitive Neuroscience. At the Vienna CogSciHub our vision is to establish a unique profile in cognitive science that contributes basic and applied research to solve the significant issues of our time. The mission of the Vienna CogSciHub is to foster interdisciplinary research in the cognitive sciences in Vienna and thus support the strategic priorities of the University of Vienna in the areas of living systems, culture, and global health.

The Middle European interdisciplinary master’s programme in Cognitive Science (MEi:CogSci) is a joint master’s programme offered by the Comenius University in Bratislava, Eötvös Loránd University Budapest, University of Ljubljana, and University of Vienna & Medical University of Vienna.

The Vienna Doctoral School in Cognition, Behavior and Neuroscience (VDS CoBeNe)

The Vienna Doctoral School in Cognition, Behavior and Neuroscience (VDS CoBeNe) was granted in 2016 as one of the first Doctoral Schools at the University of Vienna, and was based in the Faculty of Life Sciences. After integrating in 2020 the Faculty of Psychology, as well as researchers in the humanities, the VDS is now a major interdisciplinary Doctoral School at the University of Vienna. CoBeNe combines the strength of four main research areas: Psychological Science, Behavioral & Cognitive Biology,Neuroscience, and the Cognitive Humanities.
